Comment Posting Help

So, I thought that I'd share some information.

I have heard that people are having problems posting comments to blogs, here's a how to so you can be heard : )

First, I believe you have to have a gmail email account, because this part of Google.
- You can go to gmail.com to set up a free account, if you already have one, you are already almost done : )

Then, at the top of the page there is a (more) button, click on it and drag down to (blogger).

Next, you will have to re-enter your password for the gmail account that you just set up.

Then, you be taken to a new screen
- All you have to do is add the (display name) that you want to use as your name when you make a comment on a blog.

Now you can: Create your own blog and create a reading list of blogs you want to follow - if you are interested in that.

On the top right-hand corner of the screen you should see your (display name)
- Click on it and drag to (Blogger profile) then (Edit profile)
- This is where you can upload a photo of yourself or a picture of what you want to represent you when you comment on a blog. (this step isn't even necessary, a blank avatar will be seen when you comment without this step)

There is a lot of information you can enter, but nothing else is needed . . . especially if you are a grandparent trying to post a comment on your granddaughter's blog : )

I hope this helps.

Mess and Paint

I have been trying to be creative. Because being creative is what I enjoy.

But there is always so much work to do that I don't feel completely comfortable taking the time to be creative.

I've made progress with my mess, but there always seems to be another box to go through and another pile of papers to sort. I really mean it when I say I'm going through everything this year.

I am just wondering when it's going to start looking like I'm making progress.

I wanted to do a Garage Sale already, but the neighborhood we moved into only allows them when it's a neighborhood wide sale, otherwise I have to apply for a permit . . . wasn't happy about that one.

So, my garage is filling up, waiting.

I have this strange system that seems to be working. I accomplish a little of my mess and then fit in some time to be creative.

Do first, play after.

Right now it's been . . . box, paint, box, paint, box, paint.

My hope that someday in the near future it'll just be paint, paint, paint, paint, paint : )

I thought I'd share what I'll been playing around with.

I love Pinterest and all the wonderful quotes and sayings . . . and I'm a "I can do that" kind of person.

This one is still in the works.

And this one I've only done the background color . . . peacock inspired for the girls room.

I really enjoy making them. I've made a few others for family too : )

And I have a couple more in the planning stages.

With five kids . . . this is the closest I can get to Graphic Design right now.

Now, back to my mess  ; )

Random Missed Moments & Castiel

Had a great Easter in Fond du Lac. I just wanted to share a couple of pictures.

I love that photo, I think Grandpa looks more excited than the boys : )

Here's some smiles from the boys.

The "big" kids got their turn too!

My dad said that Cameron didn't stop asking him questions the whole time, and that he could be heard over the engine . . . that's Cam.

The only tears came from Emmitt when the tractor was put away. Emmitt would ride around on it all day if Grandpa let him. And I was proud of Castiel for taking a ride, I don't think he rode on it all last summer because he was afraid of it.

And since the last post was Emmitt, I thought I'd share some things about Castiel.

Castiel is singing under his breath all the time, this is his song of choice.

Sometimes it clearer then others. I think he gets a little nervous in front of the camera.

Castiel is little. Not overly little, but little compared to Emmitt. Emmitt is the tough guy that is gentle as a teddy bear (most of the time) and Castiel is the little guy who is my scrappy little fighter. I can see it coming, because there is a change in his face. It's like aggression takes over. Trully, I believe he thinks his huge : )

Well, I've been able to handle the aggression. It can be stopped and he is put in time out.

This is something that I can't seem to get him to stop. (Notice the sweet face :$)

The other thing about Castiel, is that he likes things done for him. All I hear from Emmitt is "I do it", but Castiel says "Help please".

He's finally starting to do some things on his own, but still will quickly allow me to help.

They are really seeming big to me lately. It's a combination of their demand for independence and the new words coming out of their mouths daily.

Castiel's new favorites, "Oh man!" and "Thumbs up." and he's still saying "Dude!"

And on to Zoe.

Zoe had another band concert and she was with the 5th graders this time. She had caught up enough first semester to be moved up, which she was very happy about.

I know, not the best photo.

And the video is worse.

As all parents know, these venues fill up fast with families. Sinces we are a family of 7, we have to be early, otherwise seats are impossible to find.

So we got there early, and the twins were DONE basically before the concert started, ugh. See, the thing is, I totally have the patience for them in these situations, KC does not.

This is how I kept Emmitt under control for the last song.

He was in charge of taking the video.

KC said that we are never taking them again : )

The best part was when he decided to start singing "We will, we will, rock you." and no, that wasn't the song they were playing : )

Oh well, the concert was great and Zoe is enjoying the flute.

I think I'm caught up a little.

And the rainy days must stop, the kids want to go back outside and play!!! And I want them to too : )

You Have To Beware When They Are Quiet!

I enjoy times of quiet, as a mother, they are often few and far between.

The boys have been playing so well and building such great imaginations lately.

I invested quite a lot of money into Little People, because I love them. The twins are starting to love them and spend their day carrying them around and setting them up. Emmitt is even starting to talk for the people and animals. So cute to watch!

With imaginations, often come messes. A mother has to beware when the quiet is too quiet.

Emmitt's imagination went a little too far . . .

I don't know why he suddenly decided to bury 3 people in my plant and fill the bus with dirt, but he did.

I wasn't too happy with this, and yes, it happened again this morning . . .

But it's moments like this that make it okay  : )

The kid has perfected saying "sorry" and "i love you" at just the right moments.
